The Inda Gallery was founded in 2006 on the initiative of Ágnes Taller. In he first year, the program was defined by creative curatorial concepts. Later, the focus switched to the organisation of solo- and group exhibitions with the aim of selecting the most suitable cooperating artists for the gallery. Today, Inda works with a stable group of artists and its structure has become simpler. Next to the art director, the gallery is operated by a curator (Brigitta Muladi) and a communication manager (Ildikó Molnár).

 

At the start of the gallery’s life, it wished to explore the tendency of contemporary painting, but this aim changed already in the first year. Today, innovative techniques and tendencies are the key factors in selecting the artists. The main objective of the gallery is to create ideal conditions for a long-term cooperaton, this objective is supported by the organization of solo-exhibitions. The regularly realised projects and group exhibitions aim to dynamically widen and develop the group of artists. The cooperation with the artists, collectors, the public and the mutual thinking is vital for us. This is why we organize round tables, discussions, presentations and workshops in addition to the monthly exhibitions.
